Bill Martin, Executive Director of the Central Valley Farmland Trust, will bring us up to date on the activities and current status of the CVFT.
John Shores, President of Habitat for Humanity for San Joaquin County, will return to provide a more formal presentation about “Habitat for Humanity.”
(John spoke at our last meeting as part of the discussion on moving forward with the issues presented in the six-forum Sustainability Series).
Both topics will be open for questions and discussion

After attending 18 months of Stockton General Plan Action Team meetings and four
Community Workshops, CCG decided in May 2005 to develop its own alternative recommendations
to the city staff’s draft General Plan. Copies of our proposed policies were delivered
to members of the City Council and Planning Commission.
